In order for an individual to access Intouch products, receive notifications, etc., they must be added as a user and the user must activate their account.
You have two options for adding your users:
- Bulk upload all your users.
- Add individual users manually.
If you have a large number of users, it would be easiest to use the bulk upload feature to create the user accounts.
To upload your users, navigate to Account Settings and go to the Organization Settings page, then click on Users. Open the triple-dot menu and click on Upload Users to open the bulk upload interface.
Download the Template
You must use the template that is provided to create your user file.
Download our template here or from the user interface.
Do not modify the column headers in the template.
Do not change the file type. Only .csv files are accepted.
Populate Your File
Add your user account details to the file. At a minimum, you must provide the user's email address, role, hierarchy access details, name. and language.

An Admin user has access to all features in the system. If you do not want the user to have access to all features, set their role to User. If needed, you can then grant access to specific features with user permission rules. |

Users who have a cell number on their account can receive SMS notifications if triggers have been set up to send using text messaging. |

If you prefer to not send the account activation emails when you upload your users, you can contact a support agent to send them all at a later date. |
Step 1: Upload
When your file is ready, click on Upload File and then browse for/select your file.
When you have selected your file, click on Continue.
Step 2: Status
Your file will undergo a verification process; if there are no warnings or errors, click on Submit to proceed.
If issues are found, the warning(s) and/or error(s) will be identified. You may proceed if a warning is displayed, however be certain that the user detail that generated the warning is correct and the warning can be ignored.
If an error is found, it must be corrected before you can proceed.
Step 3: Confirmation
Following the verification process, your file will be queued for upload and then processed.
A confirmation will be displayed when it is complete.
User account details can immediately be viewed on the Users page.
Edit or Delete a User
- Click on the user in the list to edit the user's account details.
- In the editing interface, click on the Delete User button at the bottom of the page to deactivate and delete the user's account.
